![]() ![]() Stephen Hillemburg's death is really a loss to this world, for this creative mastermind made the childhood and possibly even adulthood of many people way better with a simple cartoon, and the first 4 seasons are the creme de la creme when it comes to quality animation, super F for Stephen. At first glance you'll maybe dismiss the characters as being one-dimensional and bland, but upon further engagement on the brilliant storylines, you'll come to find that they have passions, emotions, desires, insecurities, and they feel way more human than 99% of other cartoon characters despite having a strong emphasis on their primary characteristics. The characters deserve their own paragraph because they're so damn good. The series chronicles the exploits and adventures of the title character and his various friends in. This show is pure genius, it's hilarious for kids and adults alike, its pace's perfection is inspired by god itself, the majority of the episodes in this season have the perfect length to keep me engaged, the humor made me laugh my ass off when I was a kid, and still makes me laugh my ass off as an adult, structure-wise, there's no other cartoon show that will come closer to perfection than Spongebob's first seasons.
